The hall prepared for the city-wide extended meeting organized by the Oli faction of CPN-UML was vandalized at Everest Fun Park at Urlabari-8 of Morang on July 22. Before the meeting, a chair at the venue was vandalized, said Umakanta Gautam, city coordinator of Oli Group. The program was scheduled to begin at 12 noon on Thursday. However, he said that an unidentified group vandalized the venue at 11 o'clock. The Oli faction suspects that Madhav Kumar Nepal's side may have sabotaged it. However, Ganga Bastola, city chairperson of the Madhav group, said that the sabotage was carried out by a dissident group within the Oli group.
