A boy has been killed in Morang over a dispute related to football. The deceased has been identified as Abhishek Chaudhary, 17, of Urlabari Municipality-8, Rajghat.
According to DSP Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office, Morang, Chaudhary was stabbed on Monday over the dispute. Abhishek was critically injured in the stabbing incident at around 1:15 pm on Monday. He was rushed to B&C Hospital in Birtamod for treatment but died immediately.
Abhishek was stabbed by a group of six or seven youths while he was at local Bhuran Chaudhary's house. Sushan Dhami, 21, who was with Abhishek, was also injured in the attack. He is undergoing treatment at Araniko Hospital in Urlabari.
The Area Police Office, Urlabari has arrested two youths on the charge of being involved in the incident. Police said that they are searching for others. According to the police, there was a dispute between the youths while they were playing football on Sunday.
