Karnali Agriculture Minister Shahi and his cadres gave death threats to journalists over a published news

The Nepal Press Union has drawn attention to the death threats made against Bishnu Prasad Neupane, president of Nepal Press Union Kalikot and Annapurna activist and Nagendra Upadhyaya, Karnali state chief of Nagarik Dainik.
Journalists Neupane and Upadhyay mentioned that they are compelled to go underground. As the relatives and supporters of the Minister. following the publication of the news, picketed their house in Birendranagar Ward No. 3 of Surkhet and pelted him with stones, attempted a deadly attack and threatened to kill him in public.
