Demonstration in Surkhet demanding dismissal of Minister Shahi

Students and organizations affiliated with the CPN-UML, Yuva Sangha Nepal and ANNFSU staged a rally on August 29 demanding the dismissal of Kurmaraj Shahi, the Karnali Minister for Land, Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives. They even picketed the Chief Minister's Office in Surkhet. The rally started from the UML party office with a banner stating 'Dismiss the Minister Accused of Rape.
