Nepal Dalit Union, a sister wing of Nepali Congress, staged a sit-in at the central party office demanding the re-installation of Dalit rights in election guidelines prepared for the general convention of Nepali Congress. They accused the election guidelines of being non-inclusive and unjustified. They warned the party leaders of further protests if their demands are not met.
