Dalit leaders and cadres staged a sit-in at the party's central office in Sanepa after the resignation of Nepali Congress central member Meen Bishwakarma, along with five-point demands. The sit-in protest was led by Party central members and Dalit leaders Man Bahadur Bishwakarma and Jeevan Pariyar whereas Sujata Koirala, also supported the protest.
