A group of cadres of CPN(UML), RPP, Federal Limbuwan Manch Dharan vandalized the office of the Vice-Chancellor on September 6 in protest of the decision of the doctors of the institute who went on strike saying that the government had not met their demands. They also broke the lock of the office of the Vice-Chancellor and other office bearers that were padlocked by the agitating doctors.
According to a doctor in the BP Pratisthan, more than 150 people had entered the BP premises. Breaking the lock, the political parties' cadres demanded to start services including OPD as soon as possible. Protesters strongly condemn the move of the protesting academy's staff. They further alleged that the incident took place with the connivance of the officials.
