Nepal Workers Peasants Party stage demonstration against MCC in Kathmandu

Nepal Revolutionary Students' Union (Nepal Krantikari Yuva Sangh) and Nepal Revolutionary Students' union (Nepal Krantikari Vidyarthi Sangh), sister organizations of Nepal Workers Peasants Party (Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party) stage a joint protest rally against MCC in Kathmandu. The protest started from Ratna Park and proceeded towards Asan, Indrachowk, Amut Sinus Campus, Thak and towards the US Embassy.
Police tried to interfere with the protest in the embassy that resulted in a scuffle between police and protestors. Prakash Gurung of the organizing students' association said that six more people were injured in the incident.
