Police arrested Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, a 54-year-old resident of Okhaldunga Chismkhugadhi rural municipality-3, on the charge of looting Rs. 13,77,895, mobile phone and later assaulting Prakash Shrestha, a 25-year-old resident of Katari-4, on September 7. According to the police, the accused requested the lift from the victim in his vehicle assuring that he is a businessman and is from Udayapur Katari municipality-8 and later assaulted the driver making him unconscious by hitting him with the stone while going out to use the bathroom.
