Youth association affiliated with the CPN-UML held a torch rally on September 14 in Sorhakhutte, Kathmandu, in protest of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's government. Following the Supreme Court's decision, UML Chairman KP Oli was forced to resign, and the youth organization has been protesting the Deuba administration ever since.
UML is criticizing UML's actions against 14 Members of Parliament (MPs) following the previous party split. On the same issue, the UML has been obstructing parliament sessions on a regular basis.
