Prakash Bhandari, a 56-year-old  resident of Kanepokhari rural municipality-3, lodged the complaint against Udaya Bahadur Kakri, a 56-year-old ward chairperson of the same municipality on September 15 on the charge of physical assault. According to Sabita Bhandari, the daughter of the victim, the accused assaulted the victim on September 14, with no proper reason during dinner, her father's body was swollen and was sent for treatment in Birat Nursing home. On the contrary, the ward chairperson claims that he went there to request not to fight amongst but he was himself was assaulted and it was nothing but self defense.
