Bechan Yadav, the father of Matauna National Basic School relief teacher Madhav Ray Yadav in Shahid Municipality-1, Dhanusha, is accused of assaulting Ishwori Prasad Gyawali, the head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit Dhanusha, on September 21 over a transfer dispute. Bechan Yadav accuses Gyawali of illegally transferring other teachers along with his son.

According to an eyewitness, Bechan Yadav, a retired teacher, arrived at the office with a problem concerning his son's transfer. Bachen Yadav physically assaulted Chief Gyawali after he began leaving the office ignoring him.

Madhav's father, Bechan Yadav, stated that the incident occurred when he went to the coordination unit committee to request that the illegal transfer and salary arrears be cancelled. Despite several complaints filed with the district administration office, municipality, and coordination unit, he stated that no untoward incident has occurred thus far.
