Police arrested 43-year-old Laxman Rai on September 19 on the charge of murdering his 82-year-old mother, Wada Laxmi Rai, resident of Nechasalyan rural municipality-5. According to the police, the accused hit his mother with the iron hammer after the victim refused to give money on September 19.
