Congress leaders and cadres staged a demonstration against the unfair treatment after the ministers misbehaved with the cadres who were in sit-in protest over active membership. The dispute happened between Lakhindra Mahato, ward chairperson of Baharathawa municipality-4 and Kakhindra Mahato, Minister of women, children, youth and sports on September 21.

After the incident,  Amaresh Kumar Singh and the leader and cadres staged a  demonstration along with the sit-in. The sit-in was also joined by senior leaders like Ramchandra Poudel, Prakashman Singh, Shekhar Koirala and others.
