Yagya Dhakal, a member of the Kathmandu branch of the federation and editor of Nepali Janata Online, was assaulted by the staff including the procurement chief of Kathmandu Valley's Drinking water Limited Mahakalchaur on September 26. FNJ has strongly condemned the attack on the constitutional rights of journalists and demanded that the perpetrators be brought to justice.
