Roshan Khatun, 35, of Babiya VDC-3 has been injured after she was severely beaten by her husband Muhammad Safik , 40 on the night of July 29. The accused attacked her with a bamboo stick and seriously injured her in an inebriated state said the victim. She sustained severe head injury. The victim is undergoing treatment at District Hospital Sunsari.
