August 4, Principle Dennis D'Souza of Saint Joseph School of Gorkha Municipality-10 has been accused of inflicting corporal punishment to students of tenth standard. It has been revealed that the students of tenth standard were punished by the principle by making them kneel down on their foot for two hours. One of the student complained that they were punished on charge of not turning off the fan and spilling water on the floor. Few students became unconscious after they could not bear the punishment. However, the principle denied the claim saying that the students were only warned. No complaints have been made by the students regarding the incident.
