Nepal Communist Party-Biplav group organized a sit-in in front of District Administrative Office Makwanpur on October 4, protesting against the delay of government in executing three point agreement, based on which Biplav group quitted its underground party structure to enter into mainstream politics. 

On March 7, the Biplav group joined into peaceful politics after reaching a three-point deal with the then-Oli-led government. They expressed their discontent with the fact that the agreements were not implemented for another seven months. A sit-in protest was held in Makwanpur as part of a nationwide campaign to protest the failure to implement the three-point accord.
