Cadres of the Janata Samajbadi Party staged demonstration in the party office in Kathmandu, Balkumari on October 11 demanding the resignation of the party's chairperson Upendra Yadav. They are agitated after Pradip Yadav, MP of Parsa was not appointed as a minister even though four members from the party were appointed as ministers.

During the protest, Socialist Students Union Parsa District Union President Raj Babu Raki said that party president Upendra Yadav had betrayed the people of Parsa. Activists who have been protesting in Parsa have been protesting against the appointment of Yadav as a minister.
