Ishwari Dutta Joshi, a 45-year-old resident of Malladhik in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-2 of Baitadi was brutally assaulted on October 21. He was beaten over a domestic dispute by Ram Dutta Joshi, 20, and Tilak Joshi, 18, both sons of local Keshav Raj Joshi. Although the beaten person's treatment has begun, his health has not improved, and no complaint has been filed against him.
Ishwari Dutta's brothers worked with Ram Dutta and Tilak's eldest brother in Bangalore, India. In India, they got into a fight while drinking alcohol. To avenge the fight in India, Ram Dutta and Tilak attacked Ishwari with iron rods from behind at his house. The accused, Ram Dutta, was also injured in the altercation and is being treated, according to police. Ishwari Dutta, who was critically injured, has been operated on twice, but he has not yet regained consciousness, according to his relative Narendra Dutta Joshi.
