Anchala Chaudhary, Deputy Mayor of Kailali's Gauriganga Municipality, has threatened the Chief District Officer (CDO) after a dispute between the CPN-UML and the CPN (Unified Socialist Party) erupted. When speaking with the police, Deputy Mayor Chaudhary stated, "If an incident occurs here tomorrow, the CDO should be held accountable. We are also prepared to blow CDO's head off. 'The CDO should foster a climate of consensus here."

Deputy Mayor Chaudhary stated that the dispute over the party office was intensifying and that if the dispute resulted in an incident, only the CDO should be held accountable. However, a video of Deputy Mayor Chaudhary expressing her outrage, saying, "We are also ready to behead CDO," has now gone viral. According to police, there was tension since October 26 after the CPN (Unified Socialist Party) padlocked the UML party office.

CPN-UML Kailali Vice-Chairman Ran Bahadur Chand said that the dispute arose after CPN-U cadres locked the party office. Chairman of the Unified Socialist Gauri Ganga, Bishnu Acharya, said that the party office was locked for a discussion but a normal clash took place after the UML cadres opened it. The dispute has been going on since this morning.
