Trithamaya Tamang, a 59-year-old woman from Dhunibesi municipality-1, Dadagaun was murdered on November 10 around 8 pm. Tamang is a single woman and lived alone at her house in Dadagaun. Her daughter Sanju Tamang and son-in -law run a shop at Kalpukhola. Her son in law had come to her house the same evening but left afterwards.
The preliminary investigation done by the police suggested that her nephew Bir Bahadur Tamang "Thule" might have murdered her in the effect of alcohol. Police have arrested Thule for further investigation after he was found near her house with bloodstains in the clothes. According to police, the woman was murdered by charging a sharp weapon on her. Also, her gold earrings are missing. The police are further investigating the case.
