Police have arrested five people on the charge of killing 46-year-old Mabesir Hussain Mian of Gauradaha Municipality-5 with a sharp weapon.

Among the arrested are Mohammad Saddam, 31, of Gauradaha Municipality-5, his wife Sumeran Khatun, 28, of the same place, Mohammad Suleiman, 26, of the same place, his wife Ruksar Khatun, 22, and Kursaman Khatun, 38, of the same place.

Police deployed from Area Police Office Damak after being reported about Mabesir Hussain Miya found his dead body draped in a blanket inside the septic tank of Mahammad Saddam's house on November 12. Further investigation into the incident revealed that Mabesir Hussain was murdered over an old feud. 

Police have also recovered sharp weapons, knives, and mortars used in the incident. According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, the case is being investigated with the permission of the District Court, Jhapa.
