Group of youths clashed of Bheri municipality-1, Rawatgaun and Kolchaur, clashed during a fair in Janjarkot. Due to the clash, an 18-year-old local youth Prakash Jung Shah of Bheri municipality-3 was killed on November 19. According to the police, the groups had an argument at the fair and they were sent away after reaching an agreement but later on the same night, the groups clashed. All of Shah's friends were able to save their lives by fleeing the scene. The victim's body was found near the Bheri river near the Bheri municipality-1, Kalegaun with serious head injuries.
Police arrested Sarjan Khatri of Bheri municipality-1, Shiva Raj Pariyar and Santosh Pariyar, Dinesh KC of Bheri municipality-1 (Kalegaun), and Kesh Bahadur Budha of Bheri municipality-1(Rawatgaun), on the charge of involvement in the incident.
According to DSP Thapa, the investigation will be started on the basis of the nature of the incident, the post-mortem report of the body. Police said that the five others who were taken under control to find out about the incident were released after a simple interrogation. The victim was studying in class 11 at the local Tribhuvan High School Khalanga.
