Congress Regional Convention: Clash at polling station in Butwal, one injured

A clash broke out between Nepali Congress (NC) cadres in Butwal of Rupandehi, the home district of Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan, during the regional convention of the Nepali Congress. The clash took place at Balmandir in Butwal during the counting of votes for the regional convention of Rupendehi Constituency No. 2  between Prasanna Koirala of the party's founding side and Dirgha Bahadur KC from the opposition faction of NC. KC's face is injured in the clash and he was taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for treatment. The counting of votes has been postponed after the clash.
