Two journalists assaulted by Nepali Congress party members in Solukhumbu

Two journalists, Subash Darnal and Raman Ban who went for reporting about the Presidential election for the District committee of Nepali congress were assaulted by party members on December 30.
Among the accused is District vice-chairperson of Nepal Students Union Jivan Basnet, Secretary of Tarun Dal Skhekhar Basnet, Regional representative Pradip Basnet, Chairperson of Nepal Students Union-Dudhkoshi Bibhusan Rai. The assault resulted in the physical damage of the microphone and recorder used during the reporting.
