Morang/ August 13 Uma Devi Singh, 35, of Sishbani Jahada VDC-7 has lodged a complaint at District Police Office against her husband Prakash Singh, 40, accusing him of inflicting physical and mental torture. The victim said that she was last beaten by the accused in an inebriated state on August 4. Police said that the case had been registered at Women and Children Service Center under the DPO. SI Bhagwati Neupane said that the process of summoning the accused at District Police Office has been initiated.
