The relatives have vandalized the district hospital in Trishuli saying that the pregnant woman died due to the negligence of the doctor. Savitri Koirala (Aryal), 27, of Bidur-7, Tupche, who was in labor on Monday, died while undergoing treatment. Koirala's relatives allege that she died while using a high-dose medicine.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dipendra Pandey claimed that he died due to excessive bleeding. "It simply came to our notice then. No matter how hard he tried, she could not be saved. It is a medical complication, 'he said.
He has alleged that her relatives vandalized the hospital after the incident. However, the father of the deceased Ram Chandra Koirala said that they had not vandalized. "We haven't done anything wrong." , he said. The newborn baby is currently undergoing treatment on a ventilator at Kanti Hospital.
