Police arrests youth from Solukhumbu on the charge of manhandling journalist

Police have arrested a youth from Solukhumbu on the charge of assaulting Ujyaalo online affiliated journalist Subash Darnal.
The arrested has been identified as Jivan Basnet, Solukhumbu District deputy-chairperson of Nepali Congress's student wing NSU. Basnet, Nepali Congress Regional representative Pradip Basnet, NSU cadre Bibhushan Rai among others had assaulted journalists Darnal and Raman Ban while they were reporting during the convention of Nepali Congress.
Police arrested Jivan from his home in Madhydudhkoshi Rural Municipality-5.
