Chand-led party's student wing burn PM's effigy at Pashupati Campus

Students close to the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplov burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur in protest of the rise in prices of petroleum products.

During the demonstration, the students said that the impact of the rise in prices of petroleum products has affected the daily life of the people and they should immediately withdraw it. Nepal Oil Corporation had increased petrol by Rs 3 per liter, diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 last Wednesday.
