A passenger bus parked in Kumargadhi village of Kolhabi Municipality-6 in Bara was set on fire at midnight on Saturday. The bus (Na 7 Kha 3535) was set on fire. According to the locals, the bus belonging to teacher Tej Prakash Chaudhary was set on fire by an unknown group. Teacher Chaudhary had been providing transport service to the general public by operating them from rural areas to Birgunj. Teacher Chaudhary said that he did not know who started the fire and why. According to Shri Ram Sah, a local teacher, the bus parked at Chhathighat was driven away and petrol was sprinkled on it. It is said that all the parts of the bus were completely burnt. According to District Police Spokesperson Rajesh Thapa, it has not been revealed who committed the incident and why. Police said that they have searched for the person who started the fire.
