Parbat,Balatkar A 17-year-old girl has filed a complaint at District Police Office Parbat on August 16 against three accusing them of raping her and a complaint against her step-mother, who forced her out of home asking for action against them as per rape law and Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) Act 2007. Police arrested Kamala Bhandari of Singha in Myagdi and running Shanti Hotel at Baribeni in Majhphant VDC-3 and Ganesh Bhandari and Sujan Bhandari of Rakhu Bhagwati VDC-9 and an Indian national Anil Sharma on the basis of her FIR. In her complaint, the girl said that she was repeatedly raped at Shanti Hotel in Mallaj, Majhphant where she was employed. According to her, in Kathmandu, her step-mother forced her to take a bus to Beni, Myagdi on July 25. Anil, who worked in a garage in Beni, found her stranded at the Beni Bus Park on July 26 and handed her over to Subhakamana Hotel and then to Shanti Hotel in Baribeni the next day. The girl was rescued from the Hotel following the information provided by the locals. DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha of District Police Office, Parbat said that all four accused by the girl have been taken into custody. An initiation has been taken to arrest the girl’s step-mother, Shrestha added. M
