Nepali Congress office and vehicle vandalized in attack in Sindhuli, seven injured

The contact office of Nepali Congress (NC) in Sindhuli's Dudhouli Municipality-2 Bhanuwahi was vandalized on Thursday night. According to NC ward chairperson and candidate for the post of chairperson of ward 2 Jit Bahadur Bhujel, CPN-UML cadres were involved in attack and vandalism.
Seven cadres were injured and election campaign materials were destroyed in the in the incident according to Bhujel. Among those who sustained minor injury are Kamal Bhujel, Ranjit Kuwar, Santosh Bhujel, Pesal Bhujel, Saroj Dhami, Mandu Thapa, and Dinesh Dhami. Vehicles bearing plate number Na 7 Kha 7770 and a Bolero were damaged during the attack at midnight on Thursday. NC has demanded action against the attackers. CPN-UML candidate for the post of ward 2 chairperson Ritesh Raut claimed that he was unaware of the attack.
