Police fire warning shots to bring situation into control as coalition and CPN-UML cadres clash in Jajarkot

26-year-old Sandesh Tiruwa a Nepali Congress cadre from Kushe Rural Municipality-9 was injured during a clash between cadres of CPN-UML and ruling coalition parties Nepali Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist), and CPN (Maoist Centre) in Kushe Rural Municipality-9 Jurge of Jajarkot on May 4. Police fired one round warning shot as the clashing cadres pelted stones at police when intervening the clash. Deputy-CDO Jhalak KC stated that additional police was deployed to bring the situation into normal.
