Dan Bahadur Tamang,  a Nepali Congress cadre and  driver of vehicle being used for  the party's election campaign has been physically assaulted by CPN-UML cadres in Rampur of Ramechhap. CPN-UML cadres including the party's former Deputy VDC Chairperson Ramesh Tamang attacked Dan Bahadur on   May 6 injuring him, according to NC leader Kumari Hayu. Dan Bahadur sustained many injuries and bruises on his face and body. Complaint was lodged to take action against the accused.

Dan Bahadur stated the CPN-UML cadres attacked him for refusing to offer his vehicle for CPN-UML's election campaign.
