Cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) have clashed during election campaign in Aathbiskot Municipality-10 of Rukum West on May 9. Cadres of CPN (Maoist Center) vandalized the vehicle used for election campaign by Nepali Congress.  Nepali Congress claimed that CPN (Maoist Center) torched a motorcycle belonging to a cadre. The two parties had also clashed on May 8 and had issued a joint statement expressing their commitment to hold the election in a cordial atmosphere.
