Voting stopped in polling station at Balba,  Sanphebagar municipality-13 of Achham after a clash broke between CPN-UML and alliance of Nepali Congress and (CPN Unified Socialist Alliance) toady. Assistant Inspector of Police Janak Shahi said that the polling was postponed due to clashes between the two parties. He said that additional security personnel were deployed for the security of the polling officials and ballot boxes after the clash.
