Cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) clashed in a polling station in Gyanmarga Secondary school of Ghyalchowk in Gandaki rural municipality-7 of Gorkha. To control the situation, the police fired warning shots. The voting process was postponed for some time due to the dispute, said Vimal Regmi, Assistant Election Officer at the polling station. He further added that the two parties smashed the fence of the polling station. Staffs hid the ballot box inside the room to prevent them from being vandalized. After an all-party meeting, voting has now resumed.
