Two injured in a clash between cadres of the coalition party and CPN-UML in Baglung, vote counting affected

Bhim Bahadur BK, 26, of Dhorpatan Municipality and Khum Bahadur BK, 40, of Ward 1 were injured in the clash between the cadres of coalition party and CPN-UML in Dhorpatan municipality of Baglung on Saturday morning. Among two injured, one sustained serious injuries. Vote counting scheduled for the afternoon of May 14 was affected due to the clash.

According to the police, the clash took place when there was a dispute regarding keeping party representatives at the vote counting site. Election Officer of the election Office Dhorpatan, Lal Singh Thapa said that the counting of votes would be done immediately after holding an all-party meeting. The election was held peacefully in all the polling stations of Dhorpatan on May 13.
