Dhal Bahadur Pariyar, Amber Bahadur Pariyar, and Tara Bahadur Pariyar were physicially assaulted by the CPN-UML cadres Nasib Miya and Sonu Gurung in Biruwa rural municipality of Syangja, on May 19, during the victory celebration of newly elected ward chairperson Surya Bahadur Kunwar. The victims went to play musical instrument for the celebration of the victory in the house of Kunwar but Miya and Gurung physically assaulted them accusing them of being Nepali Congress supporters and not voting for CPN-UML in the local election. Due to physical assault, Tara and Ambar Bahadur sustained minor injury on their face.
