Students union affiliated to CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) stages demonstration against price hike on petroleum products in Kathmandu

Student union affiliated to CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Mohan Baidya staged a demonstration against price hike on petroleum products in Nepal Oil Corporation's central office in Teku-12 of Kathmandu on May 23.  Different associations affiliated to CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) took part in the demonstration organized by a students union affiliated with CPN (Revolutionary Maoist). 

The corporation increased the price of petrol, diesel, and kerosene by Rs 10 per liter. The price of LPG increased by Rs. 200 per cylinder. Stating that the price of petroleum products has gone up in the international market and the Indian Oil Rules increased the price accordingly, the corporation stated that the price has gone up. The general consumers have been hit as the corporation has been increasing the prices time and again.
