Police arrested Arjun Ram, 32, and Ramba Devi, 52 of Chiparmai rural municipality-2, of parsa on June 17, on the charge of beating to death their neighbor Dashain Mahara, a 65-year-old man of Pakahamainpur-1. Another suspect in the incident Mahesh Ram remains absconded. According to the police, Mahesh and Dashain had an argument over a minor issue and Mahesh attacked Dashain with a wooden plank in the head. Dashain lost his life while undergoing medical treatment in Narayani Hospital Birgunj. 

Few days back, the female members of Mahesh and Dashain's family had argued over the issue that an unidentified person entered the house of Mahesh Ram. And as a result of the dispute, Mahesh attaked Dashain on his head on June 17 night.
