Rastriya Prajatantra Party staged a torch rally against the government on the evening of July 1 in Hetauda of Makawnpur, protesting against growing  unemployment, inflation, and corruption.

The party had previously submitted 22 points and 6 points memorandum to Chief District Officer of Makwanpur district and Mayor of Hetauda sub-metropolitan respectively. The spoke-person of the party district committee mentioned that the  ignorance by authority in addressing their demands led them organize second phase of protest program.  The rally that started from the party office at Hetauda-5, assimilated to a coroner assembly at Buddha Chowk later.
