All services were halted in Nawalpur Primary Hospital in Indrawati Rural Municipality, of Sindhupalchok on 18 July following an assault on a doctor of the hospital. Chun Bahadur Rana Magar, the driver of the ambulance abused and physically assaulted Dr. Dharmendra Pandey in the examination room. The hospital released a statement saying that all the services of the hospital will remain closed until the ex-employee involved in the assault is investigated and action is taken, except for emergency ones. According to the Police, the accused absconded after the incident. He was removed from service by Rural Municipality on 17 July.
