Police arrested 40-year-old man Top Bahadur Khatri, of Chatreshwor rural municipality-1,  on August 5, on the charge of murdering Lokman Khatri, a leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplov in Salyan. The dead body of the victim was discovered in Shiva Gufa community forest of Bagbagaicha municipality-10 on August 4. According to the police, the accused and the victim went to Mokhlabazar together after drinking alcohol in Tharmare Bazar. Police are further investigating the incident.
