Sher Bahadur Khanal, Ward chairperson of Bareng rural municipality-3, was physically assaulted by a  local Man Bahadur Pun during the National Identity card distribution. Khanal alleged that Pun used demeaning words and later forcibly entered his room. He further added that Pun brought incomplete papers to receive National Identity Card and when he was asked to complete the papers, he resorted to assault. Due to assault, Khanal sustained injuries to his hand, legs, and ear.
