Police arrested three people on the charge of physically assaulting Yashwant Yadav, chairperson of Sakhuwa Prasauni rural municipality of Parsa, and injuring Rishi Kumar Sahani and Nagendra Prasad Yadav. The accused group vandalized and torched the vehicle of a rural municipality used by the chairperson bearing the number plate of Na. 1 Jha 1687. The victim, Nagendra alleged that a group of 20/25 people attacked them while they were inside the vehicle and they were able to escape with the help of other people. He further alleged that he has been attacked for the third time since he won the local level election.
