Saptari/ September 13 Ramiya Devi Mukhiya, 25, of Chatti Tole of Koiladi VDC-9 has filed a complaint at District Police Office on September 12 saying that her brother-in-law Shanichar Mukhiya had beaten her up. She said that she had intervened when he was misbehaving with his mother and her mother-in-law prompting Shanichar to attack her with a split fuel wood. A mother of one son, Ramiya is undergoing treatment at Rajbiraj Zonal Hospital. Her husband Gulshan Mukhiya is currently abroad for work.
