Supporters of Doctor Kamal Bhusal (Nicholas) who filed an independent candidature for the House of Representatives Rupandehi-2, staged a sit-in in Butwal on October 14 in front of the election officer's office after the election office invalidated his candidature. Nicholas's father Tulsi Kumar Bhusal, his brother Sagar Bhusal and his supporters and supporters of Lauro Abhiyan displayed placards against the cancellation of the candidature.
