Workers staged protest outside the District Administration Office in Bara demanding the release of 7 of their colleagues who were arrested during a clash at Triveni Spinning Mill in Bara on October 20. Hundreds of workers have gathered and demanded the release of their friends who were arrested on Thursday. The protesting workers of Triveni Spinning Mill demanding Dashain bonus, had locked up the senior management officials in office on October 20. At least 15 laborers and 10 policemen were injured in a clash between the police and the workers when police tried to intervene the protest program and rescue the management officials. During that time, the police arrested 7 workers. The workers have demanded the unconditional release of their comrades saying that the police suppressed their protest with a just demand.
